The Desert Symphony has enriched the Coachella Valley through music for over 30 years. Each symphonic concert moves and awes the audience at the majestic McCallum Theatre. It is through music that we all find a common bond.

This is why The Desert Symphony believes strongly in providing children an opportunity to experience live music of all genres.  These educational programs are designed exclusively for students and are performed at venues throughout the valley where each student can hear a live performance, possibly for the first time.

• Baton Auction – Participate at the LIVE auction held during one of our regular concert performances which raises financial support for educational and outreach programs. The winner receives a beautiful baton in an exquisite wooden case, two  lessons from our music director to prepare the winner for rehearsing with the orchestra, and conducting the orchestra at one of the symphony’s concerts. The winner will also receive a pair of tickets to their own performance.
